My practice focuses primarily on estate planning, probate, business law and commercial and residential real estate transactions.
I represent individuals and families in planning for their loved ones by creating Wills, Trusts, and powers of attorney; creating a plan to ensure that your assets are transferred to the person(s) you desire; I also assist clients in the handling of Probate and Trust Administration at the time a loved one passes and navigate through the complexities of Probate and distributions of assets.
My clients retain me to establish new business entities, negotiating contracts, reviewing contracts, addressing company governance matters and I tailored guidance to all.
I represent commercial and residential clients purchasing and selling real property and existing businesses. I assist in conducting due diligence, financing, title searching, and establishing new business entities for ownership of real estate and serving as resident agent.
I earned my Juris Doctorate from University of New Hampshire School of Law (formerly, Franklin Pierce Law Center) in 1993 and was admitted to practice in Rhode Island bar in 1993. Cristina is an approved Real Estate Title Attorney with Chicago Title Insurance Company, and First American; she holds her RI Real Estate Brokers License and is registered with Multiple Listing Services.
I give back to the community through my involvement with nonprofit community organizations and also I take on pro bono elder law matters through the RI Bar Association. Currently I am serving on the Board of Directors of the Aquidneck Community Table and Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce and on the Advisory Board of All About Home Care and Salve’s School of Business and Economics.
